Zielona Gora - Pinar Karsiyaka

today is the beginning of the second half of Uleb Eurocup's group stage and Pinar Karsiyaka is going to visit Paok tonight. In the first match of this group stage, visiting Paok managed to defeat Pinar Karsiyaka after 2 overtimes in Izmir. Currently they suffered their only loss against strong Lokomotiv Kuban whereas Pinar Karsiyaka lost twice so far.

Both teams have similar records in their domestic competitions, having around %50 winning rate respectivelly. Pinar Karsiyaka lost 3 games in a row ; however, those losses were attained against the league's big names. Therefore, it's not of any big surprise and totally acceptable situation. Nevertheless, the coaching staff of Pinar Karsiyaka doesn't seem to be well focused. That's the only thing that makes me think prior to this match up. I believe they made some certain mistakes which very well may have cause this 3 game losing streak.

I watched the entire game between these two teams. PAOK, despite being underdog that night, performed remarkably well in both ends of the court. Pinar Karsiyaka's offensive strength wasn't enough to trail them. Although Pinar Karsiyaka defended poorly, they still could have won if D.J. Strawberry hadn't committed such silly faul at the end, dedicating 2 easy FT's and taking the game to the overtime.

Given the poor coaching of Ufuk Sarica, home court advantage of PAOK and my experience from the first match up makes it impossible to take a side betting here. Instead, the given game total is quite lower than what I expected. It's well worth to try.
