Last year's TBL finalist Banvit Bandirma realized their first non domestic signing by adding American point guard E.J. Rowland to 1+1 years deal. After confirming Dimitris Itoudis as their new head coach, the club is expected to undergo a serious transformation towards more competitive form and the addition of Rowland is a clear indication of such upcoming trend.

Rowland, who previously played in Germany, Italy and Spain, spent last year in Latvia playing for VEF Riga where he was named as MVP of VTB League. He averaged 16.3 ppg, 5.5 apg and 5.5 rpg in VTB league while averaging 15.3 ppg, 4.8 apg and 4.2 rpg in Fiba Eurocup competition. He also hold a Bulgarian passport and plays for Bulgarian National Team as well.
