After a struggling first round in Euroleague, Anadolu Efes finally started to get things done in a way they wanted to do. After losing against CSKA Moscow in the first week of Euroleague Top 16, Anadolu Efes achieved a 5 games winning streak which pretty much enabled them to qualify towards quarter finals. Now, they could catch some breath and revisit the domestic competition. Tonight, they'll host one of the weakest teams of Turkish Basketball league, Hacettepe University.
Visiting Hacettepe University has had hard time prevailing in the league. They've had only 3 victories in 16 games, and they are at the bottom of the league table. By their performance, they could have been regarded as already relegated if there hadn't been other teams such as Olin Edirne and Antalya Bsb. which aren't any better. From now on, any game is just as important as an arbitrary final.
During the break, Hacettepe University made a signing to help them rise in the league. Dwight Hardy, the top scoring player of Italian second league was signed whereas Cameron Bennermann was waiwed. Hardy didn't play last weekend, we'll how much he contributes today. Obviously, Anadolu Efes and Hacettepe University are two teams that are not comparable to each other. The given spread for this game is -24.5 points which I'm not fancy about. Anadolu Efes might play a lousy basketball, so such handicap seems risky to me. (Despite we took advantage of similar spreads in the past). Instead, I'll go for the game total pick. Hacettepe University usually plays at least one quarter well (mostly the first one) and Anadolu Efes is highly probably to make different rotation to rest some of its key players. By the light of these assumptions, I focus on half time game total. It is set as 75 points for the first half. I think such limit could be exceeded. Medium stakes!
Pick : First Half Over 75.0 points @ 1.88
Good luck and happy betting!
