Recap of the weekend ( 01-02 December 2012 )

In the first weekend of december 2012, we presented 5 picks here. The first 3 of them won straight whereas the last 2 were lost. On saturday, the game between two underachiving teams, Mersin and Antalya, faced each other. Since I closely watched how Antalya defeated impressive Ted Kolejliler last week, I was pretty much sure they wouldn't repeat the same success again. Indeed, Mersin won at the end. The second pick was regarding Pinar Karsiyaka who lost its last game at home. I was pretty much sure that they would have smashed poor Hacettepe University to compensate that lost. They didn't mislead me by covering the spread very easily.

Sunday, in contrast, didn't go well. Exhausted Anadolu Efes had tough time contending strong Erdemir as expected. They took control of the game in the final 5 minutes and won the game with the last offense. Nevertheless, the following two picks surprised me. I expected a comfortable Galatasaray win, but they were outscored in the 3rd quarter and made us lose the spread betting. Fenerbahce Ulker on the road, on the other hand, played more aggresivelly than I thought, so home side Royal Hali Gaziantep could't hold on the spread in the final minutes.

3W-2L overall weekend performance is worse than what we thought we could on last friday night.
