Serge Ibaka over 9.5 points

Last year's NBA finalists Oklahoma City Thunder will be hosted by San Antonio Spurs tonight for their season opener. Dominating the western conference continuosly, Oklahoma City Thunder played in conference Finals two years ago. Last year they made it to the NBA finals. This year, they will definitelly aim to acquire their ever championship.

San Antonio Spurs is a team that ages each year. They won two consecutive NBA titles with talented rookie Tim Duncan and legendary center David Robinson creating "Twin Towers" and leading the way, in the late 90's. Spurs won two other championships on 2005 and 2007;however, in the recent years, their aging squad finds it hard to compete for titles. They were swept by Grizzlies in 2011 and by Thunder in 2012. San Antonio Spurs opened the season yesterday by defeating New Orleans Hornets on the road, 99-95.

Oklahoma City Thunder has made a critical decision recently, trading former 6th Man of the year, All Star, and olympic gold medal winner James Harden with bunch of bench players to Rockets, in exchange for swingman Kevin Martin, talented rookie Jeremy Lamb, 2 future first round draft picks and 1 second round draft pick. Some people criticized this decision, some thought it was wise to do it right before the season, claiming that Thunder wouldn't have kept him anyway due to financial reasons. No one exactly knows how this spectacular move will affect to Thunder's performance. I guess we all have to wait and see what would happen in the near future.

If we get back to tonight's game, there is one player performance bet i particularly liked. Serge Ibaka performed very well in preseasons, averaging 16 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in 24 minutes. Last year during regular season, he averaged 9.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 66 games. In playoffs, his figures are 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds. Against San Antonio Spurs, He scored more than 9 points in 6 of 9 games. (In games when he couldn't score more than 9 points, he made 5-8-9 points in each)

Pick : Serge Ibaka over 9.5 points @ 1.66

Good luck and Happy betting!
